Dave Hauptman is currently the Chief Commercial Officer for Kenco. He is responsible for aligning commercial strategy and the development of the organization, which entails a myriad of competencies and activities tied to marketing, sales, product development and account management, to drive business growth and market share. Prior to Kenco, Hauptman was SVP of the Strategic Management office at GEODIS where he led the development, execution, and management of the strategic direction of GEODIS in the Americas. He also previously held executive roles in Marketing and Product Management while at GEODIS. Hauptman also has prior leadership experience at DHL Supply Chain as well as Parcel and Contract Logistics. He has 25 years of experience in the logistics industry and sat on the board of the International Business Council in Nashville and as President of the board of the middle Tennessee CSCMP chapter.


Mike Honious

Mike Honious joined GEODIS in November 2005 and was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Americas in October 2020. Mike is responsible for overseeing the region’s freight forwarding, contract logistics and transportation business units along with engineering and technology, IT, ProVenture (U.S.-based subsidiary of GEODIS focusing on industrial real estate) and Material Handling Resources (one of the country’s leading material handling distributors owned by GEODIS). In total, Mike oversees GEODIS in Americas’ expansive operations including nearly 20,000 employees and more than 230 sites across eight countries.
Prior to taking the helm as President and CEO, Mike was Chief Operating Officer of GEODIS in Americas. During his tenure with GEODIS, his previous responsibilities included executive oversight of engineering, operational excellence, project management, IT implementation and Material Handling Resources. Before joining GEODIS, he spent 13 years with Gap Inc. serving in various management capacities. He was Senior Director of Campus Operations, responsible for 2.2M square feet of warehousing operations. He also served as Director of Global Engineering Services for the specialty retailer.
In 2022, Mike was recognized on DC Velocity’s Rainmakers Award list, which honors those making a significant contribution to the logistics field and advancing the profession. Mike has also received several accolades within Middle Tennessee, home to GEODIS in Americas’ headquarters, including being selected for Nashville Post’s In Charge list for the past five years and Nashville Business Journal’s Power 100 for the past two. Mike is an active board member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Nashville Branch and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville. He’s also chairman of the board at LEAD Public Schools. Additionally, Mike is co-founder and board member of the GEODIS Foundation and GEODIS Compassion Fund, which provide financial assistance to nonprofits and teammates who have experienced unexpected hardships, respectively. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from the University of Dayton and has attended supply chain and executive leadership courses at Harvard, Penn State, Tennessee and Vanderbilt Universities. He resides in Hendersonville, Tennessee, with his wife and they have two adult children.

Phil Kafarakis is a global food industry executive with more than 40 years of leadership experience in food manufacturing, as well as managing non-profit food industry associations. Currently, Phil serves as President & CEO of IFMA The Food Away from Home Association, a U.S. trade group representing food, beverage, packaging, and equipment manufacturing companies within the $1.5 Tillion Food-Away-From-Home industry.
Phil is credited with the development and execution of the current “LevelUp2027” strategic plan, which has redefined membership benefits, invested in technology and marketing, while expanding the education and news platforms of the association. The plan has produced exponential revenue and membership growth along with increased attendance at the organization’s signature conferences.
Prior to his IFMA appointment, Phil served as President of the Specialty Food Association (SFA) representing more than 4,000 small and emerging food entrepreneurs in the $160 Billion U.S. Specialty Food Industry and previously, as Chief Innovation & Member Advancement Officer at the National Restaurant Association (NRA), the leading business association for the $900 Billion restaurant industry.
